KYLE ANDREW STEED
Kyle Andrew Steed (b. 1982) is an American self-taught artist based in Texas. His process is an investment into the future as much as it has borrowed from the past. Evolving over the last three decades, with rigorous determination to follow what holds true and a love of the unknown, these works are born. The through line of his work can be felt in his steady hand and the iconic graphic language he’s created. Attempting to connect the relationship between our being human and being something all-together not of this world are exposed through multiple layers. The word abstract fails here when describing his work. Each painting is a new experience where the eye is led to discover patterns that lead not to an end point but to a new beginning.
