CURRENT EXHIBITION

STELLA ALESI | SIMPLIFY

JulY 5 - SepTEMBER 3, 2019

Simplify showcases hard-edge, minimalist abstract paintings from the celebrated Austin painter, Stella Alesi. The exhibition was created in direct opposition to our current fast-paced and visually overloaded existence. The paintings apply simple shapes and a limited palette intending to activate the viewer’s mind. With influences from minimal abstraction paintings from the 50's and 60's as well as American Northwest Indian painting, Alesi’s work introduces a unique vocabulary for the present.

UPCOMING EXHIBITION

danika ostrowski | Chroma. Flora.

SEPTEMBER 6 - OCTOBER 27, 2019

Chroma. Flora. transports the viewer to another world, where colors seem too saturated to be real and the bizarre shapes of plants feel outlandish. But the places in these paintings are very real and Danika Ostrowski’s work reminds us how remarkable the beauty of our Earth is. Danika has long been fascinated with the color and plant life in desert environments. This series is an in-depth exploration of these two subjects.
