Kelsey Wickwire (b. 1993, Ca) is a self-taught multi-disciplinary artist living and working in Western Montana. Currently focusing in pastel and color pencil on paper and drawing on the landscapes of the American West, her work is a colorful exploration of grief, dreams, connection, and a deep sense of place. Using distinctly Western imagery, she aims to subvert the modern “cowboy myth” of rugged individualism in favor of one steeped in interconnectedness.
