Bradley Narduzzi

BRADLEY NARDUZZI

Born in New Haven, Connecticut, to a family of six children, Bradley Narduzzi had a peripatetic childhood. His father, a college football coach, moved the family around the United States to campuses in Florida, Ohio, Kentucky, and New Jersey, among other places. He attended Columbia University, where he minored in painting while majoring in architecture. And after graduation, he worked in small architecture firms in Manhattan. In 1992, he received a fellowship from the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum and furthered his study of art & architecture in Venice.

In the mid-1990s, he began designing his own furniture, using wood, glass, and aluminum. His minimal, purist aesthetic was informed, in part, by the contemporary European design he encountered while working for the premier furniture gallery (ModernAge, New York) during this period. Furniture design led to furniture manufacturing, and Bradley began having his pieces made in Mexico under the label Olé Ink. Eventually, he moved to Mexico City to oversee the production of his designs. After a few years of managing the project, he left the business, and in 2000, decided to pursue painting full time. Bradley’s work has been exhibited at art fairs and galleries in the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia.

His work is included in many prominent private and corporate collections. He has also exhibited in some of Mexico’s most prestigious museums, including the Museum of Art in Queretaro, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Monterrey, as well as the Soumya Museum, the Colegio de San Ildefonso, the Franz Meyer Museum, and the Museum of Mexico City. While Bradley continues most of his work in his Mexico City studio, in late 2023, he established a new home and studio in Austin, Texas, where he resides with his wife Sandra. The following exhibitions are some of his most relevant events from the past 20 years.
